Working Towards a Balanced Approach to Performance Measurement

In order to track corporate performance in real time format, Niagara Region developed a public facing dashboard. The dashboard allowed council and the public to view the current status of key performance outcomes, related operational measures and council priority projects. This has enabled an organizational shift towards evidence-based decision making and encouraged collaboration between divisions.
