COVID19 Update

Our annual conference to bring together municipal employees interested in innovation to learn, share and network is the highlight of our year. However, due to growing concerns around COVID-19, the Municipal Innovators Community Steering Committee has made the very difficult decision to cancel MIC2020. 

This decision was not easy to make as we value the opportunity to connect with the wonderfully diverse municipal innovators in person each year. It is only in recognition of the critical role municipalities play in the health and safety of our communities that we determined an in-person conference was not possible for this year.

We are committed to supporting you in finding ways to connect with other municipal innovators for learning, sharing and collaborating, and we will be investigating alternatives to our conference to fill this gap in 2020. The MIC2020 webpage will be dedicated to openly sharing our ideas, and we will continue to communicate via social media at @MunInnovators and through our newsletter. If you have ideas, please share them with us on social media or via email at info@municipalinnovators.ca.
